Haupeiiii good humans!

This week has been great! We found and taught some AMAZING people this week! The spirit was so strong and these people have so much potential. So why is it that they always have to be outside of our area? ¡Que pucha!

In particular, we had one noche de hogar in a member's house that was tan purete. This member really exemplifies being a member missionary. She was so great with her friends (Maria Jose y Gabriel). Being patient, explaining things, asking great questions. This member made her friends feel safe and loved, which allowed her friends to share what they were feeling and let the spirit speak to them. We shared a message based off of the talk Volver a Casa (10/10 would recommend) and closed with 2 Nefi 31:21.

21 And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.

And Maria Jose said “I truly believe this is my camino (path/way)” AHHHHH!!!! They are so great! It would be sooo much greater if they lived in Asuncion instead of Sajona, pero bueno, we know they're in good hands. We will continue helping the Hermanas of their corresponding area, and we are excited to see their progress.

This weather is so bipolar. I'm dying of heatstroke right now so yay

We haven't had a door knob on the bathroom door for all the time I've been in this area, but now we have one!
We set 4 lunch appointments with members so we are about to be eatin' good
Got an official assignment in Facebook, so looks like I'm going to be working here a wee bit longer #likeandsubscribe
Word has spread around the barrio that I'm super afraid of Margarita (the ghost in the chapel) and now members are having a fun time trying to scare me

Rosa prayed to Jose Smith, it was a little loco, but hey she's trying

Okay so it's funny to think about the fact that Rosa prayed to Joseph Smith, but jokes aside, we don't pray to Joseph Smith, Moroni, Mormon, Noah, or whatever other prophet. We pray in the name of the Father and close in the name of Jesus Christ. Prayer is something I am extremely grateful for. Prayer is such a blessing- to know that we have a Heavenly Father who loves and wants to listen to us. He wants to help you, so just open your heart and pray.
