How's erybody doin!?
Okay so we've been teaching this hermano named Cesar for a
long time now. All the lessons have been virtual because he works in an old
folks home and he legit couldn't leave his work, like for anything (felt a little
illegal that they wouldn't let him leave, but oh well). But this week he'd had enough and quit! Cesar is
extremely ready for baptism, the only thing holding him back was his job,
but that's not a problem anymore. We set a baptismal date with him for
August 14th! Can I get a woohoo?! Unfortunately, now he is not in our area
and lives 7 hours away… but no importa! The missionaries in his area are more
than stoked to be working with Cesar, and Hermana Pendleton and I can still
teach him through video calls #thankstechnology! So happy he is out of that
jail of a job and going to be baptized this month!

I have come to appreciate the Book of Mormon so much in my
time here. The role it plays in conversion. The stories and the applications.
Just the power of that book. The Book of Morman is another testament of Jesus
Christ and has something for everyone. It can give you answers, peace, comfort,
joy, and whatever it is that you're seeking. Read it and let it speak to
you!
Te amo,
Hermana Carter
